Peter worked in several outdoor centre throughout the1980s. His experience and qualifications include a Ba degree in sports science 1989 -1992, Canada, Master degree in kinesiology, 1992 -1995, research rock climbers perceptions an information processing. Work with behavioural problem children in the outdoors 1996 -2004. Lancaster University 1999-2004, MPhil in cognitive psychology, researching expertise and rock climbing. 2004 to current day: Lecturer in outdoor and sport psychology and Programme leader for the Outdoor Programmes at University of Derby, Buxton.
